Every reply follows the same rules a good therapist keeps and a chatbot forgets.
- Short turns
- Two to four sentences. One question at a time. Aura never lectures, because nobody reads a lecture at 2am.
- Remembers you
- Your name, the argument from last Tuesday, what helped before. Held quietly until it matters, never recited back as a list.
- Pushes back, kindly
- Validate and change. Aura names the loop, the catastrophising, the reassurance-seeking. She agrees with you when you are right, not because you are upset.
- Never diagnoses
- Aura notices patterns and says so in plain words. She does not label you, prescribe, or pretend to be a clinician. When a professional is the right next step, she says that too.
- Your culture, not a template
- No default 'set boundaries with your family'. Communal families, diaspora guilt, body-first ways of saying you are not okay: Aura reads the profile you gave her.
- Your language
- English, Urdu, Hindi, Arabic, Spanish, French, and the mix in between. Switch mid-sentence; Aura switches with you.
